Hello Friends!
Color has always played an important role in the way I approach celebrations. The right palette can establish a mood, complement a setting, and quietly influence the way an entire experience feels.
For 2024, Pantone selected Peach Fuzz 13-1023 as its Color of the Year—a soft peach hue that feels warm, inviting, and beautifully suited for celebrations.
A WARMER APPROACH TO COLOR
What I love about a soft peach palette is its versatility. It brings warmth without overwhelming a design and can feel romantic, fresh, sophisticated, or playful depending on the colors and textures surrounding it.
For weddings and entertaining, I especially love seeing peach tones layered with soft pinks, warm neutrals, greenery, and delicate floral textures.
And while Peach Fuzz may have been named the color of 2024, beautiful color doesn’t have to belong to a particular year or trend.
I’ve incorporated similar peach tones into celebrations long before this announcement—and one of my favorite examples is our Garden Glam editorial shoot at Marie Gabrielle in Dallas.
FROM COLOR TREND TO TIMELESS DESIGN
For this tablescape, peach wasn’t treated as a single statement color. Instead, variations of peach, blush, pink, and warm floral tones were layered throughout the design.
The florals brought softness and movement to the table, while the place settings and surrounding details allowed the palette to feel refined rather than overly themed.

Whether Peach Fuzz appears in flowers, stationery, tabletop details, fashion, or simply provides inspiration for a beautiful gathering at home, its warmth is a lovely reminder of how much color can contribute to the feeling of a celebration.
What colors are you loving for celebrations right now? I’d love to know!
