MEET EBONY PEOPLES-WORDLAW

With a passion for celebrating love and life’s unique moments and milestones, Ebony’s talents have evolved into a successful career as a wedding and event planner.  With a degree from Michigan State University in elementary education, her engaging personality and organizational skills have allowed her to effortlessly crossover from education to event planning!

Ebony is the owner and principal planner of Ebony Peoples Events & Design, an award-winning event planning and design boutique where traditional elegance meets modern glam!  Ebony started planning events in 2009 and officially launched her company in Dallas, Texas in 2011.  Her eye for exquisite design and efficient orchestration have enabled her to expand to Atlanta, Georgia and beyond!

From Michigan to Dallas to Atlanta, Ebony has become a highly sought after event planner.  Her clients have been featured in mainstream media such as Ebony (magazine), Munaluchi Bride, and Modern Luxury Weddings. Ebony was recognized as a 2021 Dynamic Woman and a 2018 Woman of Power and Influence by The Atlantan magazine.  With this, and truly being a people-person at heart, Ebony has created an elite brand that is known for exceeding client expectations while producing high-end weddings, social events, and corporate celebrations.  Ebony takes pride in being detail-oriented, catering to each client’s personal style, and learning about the latest trends and influences in the wedding and event industry!

Outside of planning events, Ebony enjoys spending time with her handsome husband, Jovan, and their sweet son, Sebastian.  She also finds delight in sampling new recipes, creating social media lifestyle content, nature walks, listening to 90s R&B music, and shopping for her new favorite dress!
