Katurah & Jeffrey’s Engagement Session at Deerfield Beach

July 15, 2023

Hello Friends!

There is something especially exciting about the season between saying “yes” and saying “I do.” For Katurah and Jeffrey, that season included planning a beautiful destination wedding in Turks & Caicos—and an engagement session that offered a glimpse of the celebration still to come.

After exploring several destinations for their wedding, Katurah and Jeffrey selected Turks & Caicos. With its beautiful beaches and turquoise waters, it was the perfect setting for the destination celebration they envisioned.

A SUNSET ENGAGEMENT SESSION

When it was time for their engagement portraits, the couple headed to Deerfield Beach, Florida, with Stanlo Photography. The soft sand, ocean views, and warm sunset created a beautiful setting that felt perfectly connected to their upcoming Caribbean wedding.

Rather than trying to recreate their wedding destination, the session offered a subtle preview of what was ahead—romantic, relaxed, and surrounded by the beauty of the water.

Katurah and Jeffrey brought two distinct looks to their engagement session, giving the photographs a beautiful sense of variety while remaining true to their personal style.

They began the session with an all-black palette that felt sophisticated and dramatic. Katurah’s flowing gown paired with Jeffrey’s tailored suit created a striking contrast against the natural beach landscape.

For their second look, they transitioned into something softer and more relaxed. Crisp white and warm neutrals complemented the coastal setting beautifully, creating an effortless finish to their sunset session.

Together, the two looks allowed the session to move from polished glamour to relaxed romance—a beautiful reflection of the couple and the destination celebration ahead.

An engagement session captures such a unique moment in a couple’s story. The wedding plans are taking shape, anticipation is building, and there is still so much to look forward to.

For Katurah and Jeffrey, these photographs became a beautiful reflection of the journey toward their destination wedding—a celebration that would soon bring their family and friends together in Turks & Caicos.

CREATIVE PARTNERS

Bringing Katurah and Jeffrey’s vision for their engagement session to life was a wonderful collaboration with Stanlo Photography, Shan B. Flawless, Touched by Toya, and Luxe Nail Experience.

I was honored to be part of the experience as Katurah and Jeffrey’s wedding planner as we continued preparing for their destination celebration in Turks & Caicos.

Stay tuned as I share more from Katurah and Jeffrey’s beautiful destination wedding celebration in Turks & Caicos!
