Ebony Peoples Events & Design is in full swing for this year’s spring wedding and event season! I recently had the opportunity to assist Modern Luxury with planning and designing The Atlantan’s 10th Annual Charity & Social Datebook Celebration at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre! The event each year is the formal release of the Datebook that showcases all of the social and charity events for the current calendar year! The event includes an awards presentation to the Social Spotlights and a feature from the guest editor! (This year’s guest editor is Steve Hightower, an Atlanta socialite, beauty guru, and philanthropist!) Here’s a peek at this year’s cover:
In staying true to the traditional 10 year color palette (blue and silver), I decided to create an ambiance that embodied “An Evening Under the Stars!” Upon arrival, guests enjoyed cocktail hour that included a gorgeous framed ice sculpture, soothing sounds from Orchestra Noir, and sweet treats from For Goodness Cakes! The opening of the ballroom doors shed light on the magical evening ahead that included aerialists, a live painting, a beautiful floral wall, chic lounge seating, a starlight dance floor, and tunes from DJ Yvonne Monet! Here’s a peek at the Datebook’s highlight film courtesy of the talented Thomas Vision Films:
Thanks so much to all of our event partners who made the 10th Annual Charity & Social Datebook Celebration an evening to remember: Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, Ice Sculptures Inc, For Goodness Cakes, Orchestra Noir, ShutterBooth ATL, I Do Linens, Utopian Events, C. Wayman Floral & Events, Indaglow Productions, AFR Furniture Rental, L.E.D. Experience, Active Production & Design, Atlanta Party Rentals, DJ Yvonne Monet, I Am Not Maggie, Garrett Popcorn, Thomas Vision Films, and the Fox Theatre!
Stay tuned for a peek at the photos and the full event release in the April 2019 issue of The Atlantan!
