A few weeks ago, I had the honor of being interviewed by Giselle Phelps of the CW33 Network about Pinterest and it’s impact on the wedding industry. I must admit, I absolutely LOVE Pinterest (as you can see in previous blog posts)! I use it for inspiration for my business and personal life. Unfortunately, some brides-to-be feel like Pinterest is a replacement wedding planner. Although it provides amazing inspiration, brides will usually need assistance with budget management, vendor recommendations, and orchestrating the final product. Just because you plan your entire wedding does not mean that your mom, aunt, or best friend wants to be in charge of the creating timelines, vendor management, and orchestrating the complete wedding day. These very special people should be there to support you and enjoy the festivities!
Head over to the CW33 Network to take a peek at my interview with Giselle Phelps and 2 brides-to-be.
What are your thoughts on Pinterest? Will you (did you) hire a wedding planner for your wedding? Why or why not? I’d love to know!!
Hello all! It’s Tasty Tuesday again. Today’s special treat is a yummy Kiwi-Strawberry Bellini! This festive juice mix would be great for your next weekend brunch or as a signature drink during cocktail hour at your wedding. Check out the delicious recipe below courtesy of u. Try it:
*Remove skin from kiwifruits, cut into quarters. In a food processor or blender, puree until smooth.
*Remove stem from strawberries, cut in halves. In a food processor or blender, puree until smooth.
*Spoon about 1-2 heaping teaspoons of kiwi puree and strawberry puree onto the bottom of champagne glasses.
*Pour Prosecco over fruit puree and enjoy!
Makes 8 Servings
*Note: You can substitute Prosecco for sparkling white grape juice for a non-alcoholic version. You can also substitute the kiwi and strawberry for your favorite fruit!
This sounds delicicous! I think I’m going to make Belleinis and sit out on the patio this evening!! What flavor fruit Bellini are you going to make? I’d love to know!
