We recently hosted a midday Halloween Happy Hour for a few fellow 4th grade parents and neighbors! Our children are the highlight of Halloween so I wanted to ensure that the grown-ups were given special treatment too! The happy hour was from 12pm - 1pm. It gave us time to catch up, grab a quick bite, and cheers to spooky season! Halloween Happy Hour included the following: 🍸

Our fur baby, Chance, celebrated his first birthda

Our fur baby, Chance, celebrated his first birthday on October 28th! In honor of this milestone, we had a puppy pawty with a dog-friendly barkcuterie board! Here’s a peek at the benefits of what I included: 🐶

🍎Apples are good source of vitamins A, C, and K. They are high in fiber and help clean teeth and freshen breath.

🥕Carrots are an essential for maintaining good eyesight. They also help to scrape plaque and tarter off teeth.

🥒Cucumbers are an excellent source of hydration. They are also great for weight management.

🫐Blueberries are a powerful antioxidant. They help to reduce inflammation and also help to prevent certain types of cancer.

🍓Strawberries are nutrient rich and help to protect the cardiovascular system.

🧀Colby Jack Cheese Cubes are a high-value treat. They’re great for training and hiding pills.

🥜Peanut Butter is a great source of protein and healthy fats.

We’ve made lots of memories with Chance this past year! There have been some ups and downs, tears, and rewarding moments (especially after obedience classes)! How do you celebrate your fur baby? I’d love to know! 💗

This creepy cosmo is the perfect addition to your Halloween happy hour! Here’s the easy recipe: 🧛🏼‍♀️

Ingredients:
2 parts Vodka
1 part Orange Liqueur
1 part Lime Juice
1 part Pomegranate Juice

Rim:
Honey
Red Food Coloring

Garnish:
Gummy Fangs

Instructions:
Mix honey and red food coloring to create faux blood to rim a coupe or cocktail glass. In a shaker, add ice and all ingredients. Shake well. Carefully strain cosmo into glass. Garnish with gummy fangs. Enjoy! 🩸

These blood bag cocktails are sure to quench the thirsts of any vampire at your upcoming Halloween party! Here’s the easy recipe: 🧛🏼‍♀️

Ingredients:
8 cups Cranberry Juice (1- 64 oz bottle)
2 1/2 cups Tequila (or Rum or Vodka)
1/2 cup Lime Juice
1/2 cup Orange Liqueur

*Recipe fills 10 blood bags! 💉

Instructions:
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Carefully pour cocktail into blood bag using a funnel or syringe. Close the bag clamp to seal. Chill until ready to serve. Enjoy! 🩸
