For my arrangement I used organic carrots (with tops) and the following flowers: hydrangea, sea lavender sinensis, jumbo mum balls, tulips, chamomile, and St. John’s wort! 💐

These cucumber sandwich flowers are the perfect addition to your upcoming tea party, garden party, or Easter brunch! They’re super cute, yummy, and easy to make! Here the simple recipe: 🥒

Ingredients:
Bread Slices
Mini Cucumber Slices
Cream Cheese
Cherry Tomatoes

Directions:
Cut bread slices using 3” round cookie cutter. Slice mini cucumbers. Cut cherry tomatoes in half. Evenly spread cream cheese on a bread slice. Place 6-7 cucumber slices. Add tomato half to center. Enjoy! 🌼

You can also sprinkle on your favorite seasoning for added flavor! 💗

My family had an amazing time in New Orleans for spring break! The Big Easy offers rich culture, deep historical roots, and a captivating art/music scene! Here are some of our top experiences: ✨

1. @whitneyplantation - The historical references, stories, and visuals from the former sugar plantation were a reminder that we’ve come so far yet have so far to go! 👨🏾‍🌾

2. The Masquerade Ball with @mtvnlfnd - I’m so proud of @beodum and all that’s he’s done with sharing HBCUs with inner city and underserved students! The second line performance by @brassband_parigi was a highlight! 🎺

3. Lunch at @cochon_nola - The gumbo and cocktails were top-tier and the seafood was fresh and delicious! The Catfish Courtbouillon with Popcorn Rice and the Marilyn West Monroe cocktail are also menu highlights! 😋

4. @visitneworleans St. Charles Avenue Streetcar - We rode the 6 mile line from end to end. It’s a symbol of charm and romance in New Orleans! The scenery was absolutely beautiful! 🚞

5. @steamernatchez Dinner Cruise - We toured the engine room, enjoyed southern cuisine, and savored the landscape of New Orleans from the Mississippi River! 🚢

6. Lunch at @morrowsnola - This restaurant was highly recommended! The charbroiled oysters, fried chicken, catfish, cabbage, mac & cheese… It was ALL so yummy!! 🦪

7. Ghost Bus Tour with @cajunencounters - We explored the dark history of New Orleans by visiting some of the city’s most notable sites including Jackson Square, Lafayette Cemetery, and Cafe Du Monde! 👻

Sebastian is determined to visit each of the 50 states so here’s to another one checked off the list! ✈️
