This version combines gin, fresh lemon, St-Germain, and Prosecco for a cocktail that’s light, crisp, and just floral enough for the start of September.

Hello Friends! 💐 Sometimes the simplest arrangeme Hello Friends! 💐

Sometimes the simplest arrangements make the biggest impact. For this one, I chose a single flower—green hydrangeas—and let their color and texture take center stage.

The blooms I found were a little smaller than I originally imagined, so I used 12 stems and grouped them closely together to create a full, soft arrangement. A clear vase, a simple tape grid, and slightly varied stem heights helped everything come together beautifully.

The full story, including the arranging process and a few simple tips for keeping hydrangeas fresh, is now on The Ebony Edit.

Tomorrow is Sebastian’s first game of the season, and with Jovan coaching his 5th grade team this year, I wanted to put together a little something for the boys.

These Game Day Fuel bags are filled with a few simple snacks, a drink, fresh fruit, and one practical little extra for after the game.

Nothing complicated—just a thoughtful way to celebrate the start of a new season.

For Jovan’s 46th birthday, that meant batching his signature cocktail, The 46—an Old Fashioned made with Maker’s Mark, demerara syrup, aromatic bitters, orange bitters, and a fresh orange peel.

I mixed everything the evening before, transferred it to a decanter, and had it ready for guests the next day. Simple, thoughtful, and one less thing to prepare once the celebration began.
