Hello Friends!
Some of my favorite recipes for entertaining are the ones that feel special without requiring hours in the kitchen.
This Peach & Burrata Crostini is exactly that. Juicy summer peaches, creamy burrata, fresh basil, and a drizzle of hot honey come together over toasted baguette slices for an appetizer that is simple, beautiful, and full of flavor.
It’s the kind of recipe I love having in my back pocket for summer entertaining—or simply for enjoying at home when fresh peaches are too good to leave at the market.

Serves 6–8
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 8–10 minutes
INGREDIENTS
- 1 French baguette, sliced into ½-inch pieces
- 2 ripe peaches, thinly sliced
- 8 ounces burrata cheese
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, plus more for finishing
- Hot honey, for drizzling
- Fresh basil leaves
- Flaky sea salt
- Freshly cracked black pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 400°F. Arrange the baguette slices in a single layer on a baking sheet and lightly brush each slice with olive oil.
Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until lightly golden and crisp around the edges. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly.
Step 2
Tear the burrata into small pieces and add it to each toasted baguette slice. Top with thin slices of fresh peach.
Step 3
Drizzle lightly with hot honey and a touch of extra-virgin olive oil. Finish with fresh basil, flaky sea salt, and freshly cracked black pepper.
Serve immediately and enjoy.
RECIPE NOTES
- Choose ripe but firm peaches. You want peaches that are sweet and juicy but still firm enough to slice and hold their shape on the crostini.
- Assemble just before serving. The baguette is best when it remains crisp, so wait to add the burrata, peaches, and finishing ingredients until shortly before serving.
- Adjust the hot honey to taste. A light drizzle adds subtle sweetness and heat. Add a little more if you prefer an extra kick.

A SIMPLE WAY TO SERVE IT
When I’m entertaining, I love recipes that allow me to spend less time in the kitchen and more time enjoying the people gathered around me.
Arrange the crostini on a favorite serving board or platter and finish them just before serving. I love the combination of the creamy burrata and sweet peaches with the little bit of heat from the hot honey. The fresh basil brings everything together.
Serve them as a light appetizer before dinner, add them to a summer grazing board, or pair them with a glass of wine for a simple evening at home.

SIMPLE CAN STILL FEEL SPECIAL
Beautiful entertaining doesn’t have to begin with a complicated recipe.
Sometimes a few seasonal ingredients, thoughtfully put together and served beautifully, are more than enough.
That’s what I love about this recipe. It feels worthy of sharing with guests, but it’s easy enough to make simply because fresh peaches are in season and you’re in the mood for something delicious.
Every day is a day worth celebrating—and I’ll happily celebrate a summer day with peaches, burrata, and a little hot honey.
What is one of your favorite ways to enjoy fresh peaches during the summer?
