Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey recently celebrated their 5 year anniversary.  As many of you know, the beautiful couple renew their vows each year.  They recently had a grand “Do You Believe In Fairy Tales?” celebration at Disneyland with Sleeping Beauty’s castle as the backdrop!  Nick and Mariah exchanged vows, with Monroe and Moroccan in tow, in the midst of 250 close friends and family members.  Mariah looked gorgeous in a beautiful lace and chiffon princess-inspired wedding gown.  Nick was quite handsome in a white suit adorned with gold embellishments similar to Prince Charming’s in Cinderella!  Monroe and Moroccan were super cute as mommy and daddy’s mini-mes.  Take a peek at the beautiful ceremony complete with a horse-drawn crystal carriage, a princess gown, a castle, and fireworks!

Happy Thursday!  I hope you all are having a great week.  2012 has been such an awesome year!  I’ve had the honor of working with a number of fabulous couples and individuals as they plan for weddings and other amazing celebrations!

 

I have one more wedding to close out 2012.  I’ve been assisting Bridgette & Evan over the last few weeks in finalizing details for their New Year’s Eve wedding at the Museum of Biblical Art!   This date is very special to Bridgette & Evan.  Not only is NYE the end of something old and the start of something new, but it’s also the date that Evan proposed to Bridgette!  Sweet!!  Take a peek at a few of their engagement photos courtesy of Evan Godwin Photography:

There’s a chill in the air and the winter holidays are in full effect!  It’s the perfect time to partake in a few mugs of hot chocolate!!  This has and will always be a favorite of mine – espeici!  I recently came across the recipe for Hot Chocolate on a Stick courtesy of Tatertots & Jello!  Yup, you heard right!  This would be the perfect sweet treat to pass along to your neighbors, send to your kids’ teachers/classmates, or serve at your upcoming holiday celebration!

 

 

Hot Chocolate on a Stick

 

Ingredients:

 

- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream

 

- 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk

 

- 3 cups semisweet chocolate chips

 

- 3/4 cups unsweetened baking chocolate (or 6 – 1 oz blocks)

 

Instructions:

 

Line an 8″ x 8″ pan with parchment paper or foil (or you can use a silicone mold like I did). Heat the cream and condesed milk over low heat until steaming. Remove from heat and add chocolate. Allow to melt gently. After 10 minutes, return the chocolate mixture to low heat to completely melt the chocolate. Whisk vigorously until mixture is thick and shiny. Pour into pan or scoop in silicone molds. Shake or tap on counter to level. Set aside overnight to set. (I put in the refrigerator) If using a silicone mold, pop each block out of the mold. If using a pan, run a knife around the edge and turn out onto a cutting surface. Slice into 1 1/4″ cubes. For the smoothest cuts, heat a knife in hot water and wipe dry before each cut. Stick a wooden stick in each block.
