Everyone who knows me knows that I love my doggy, Papi, so very much.  He is a chihuahua daschund mix, 6 years old, and just as cute as ever!  Did you know that September 24th – September 30th is National Dog Week?  My hubby will agree that every week is national dog week in our home – I must admit that I’ve spoiled Papi rotten!  (I wonder what I’ll be like with our human kids… Jovan, get ready!)  In honor of this great week, today’s Tasty Tuesday recipe is dedicated to man’s best friend!  I found the recipe for ‘Pupcakes’ a little while ago on Pinterest thanks to Pizzazzerie.

Happy Monday!  I hope your week is off to a great start.  Last night was an exciting night for red carpet fashion and primetime awards.  I realize that I don’t watch much television these days (although HGTV and The Cosby Show never gets old for me) but I had to tune in to the Emmy Awards last night to check out the fashion!  There were so many haute designs gracing the red carpet.  Bright and beautiful shades of yellow and aqua were endless!  I was excited to see ‘Tangerine Tango’ make it’s debut as well.  Other popular trends on the red carpet included fabulous updos, lots of sparkle, and bold colors!  Take a peek at a few of my favorite red carpet looks from last night:

It’s definitely engagement season!  As I scroll through my Facebook feed, people are getting engaged left and right!  I’ve had the pleasure of meeting some of the cutest newly engaged couples over the last few weeks!

It’s Tasty Tuesday again!  I hope your week is off to a great start.  I recently came across this tasty recipe for Matcha Passion Fruit Bars courtesy of BraveTart.  I must admit that I do love fruit bars.  It’s always exciting to find a new recipe to add to my collection.

Passion fruit is yummy and I am a fan of matcha green tea from Starbucks.  I can’t wait to try the recipe.  Are you someone who loves to tailgate or watch football in the comfort of your own home?  If so, you can even shape the Matcha Passion Fruit Bars into little footballs!  I think your friends will love this exciting flavor combination!
