Diamonds are a girl’s best friend.  With that being said, girls: meet your new best friend!!  Switzerland based jeweler, Shawish Jewellry, recently shared their latest creation with the world, an ALL diamond ring!  That means there’s no gold, silver, or platinum band – everything is made of diamonds!!  The ring is made up of 150 carats and valued at almost $70 million!  WOW!!

The world’s first all diamond ring is scheduled to be released by Shawish Jewellry on December 12, 2012 (12-12-12).

Hello all!  I hope you’re having a wonderful Wednesday.  I have some interesting info to share with you today.  The Andree Salon, a fashion house in Romania, recently designed a wedding gown that had an almost 2 mile long train.  WOW!!!  This bridal gown topped the Guinness Book of World Records for having the longest train in history.  Check out a few of the photos:

The bridal salon hired 10 seamstresses to work for 100 days to create this masterpiece.  The material alone cost almost $7,300!  This does not include labor or the runway show.  Here’s a video so you can get the full effect of just how long the train was:

I am a huge fan of HGTV, Design Sponge, eHow, and every other television show and blog where I get DIY project ideas for around the house and upcoming events.  I feel like I know how to reupholster furniture, grow my own veggies, upgrade bathroom tile, and add custom designed accessories to my wardrobe – all on my own!  Lol!  I recently found these giant paper flowers from ruche on Design Sponge.  I can’t wait to incorporate something like this in an upcoming styled or engagement shoot!
